Train

The main train station is a 20 minute from the Ultralase clinic in Cardiff, whilst there is a nearer train station which is just 5 minutes walk from the clinic. Cardiff Central is for all main routes into the city (20 minute walk) and Cardiff Queens is for all local routes into the city centre (5 minutes walk).

The majority of those in the surrounding area of Cardiff will arrive at Cardiff Queens railway station, if you arrive here exit the station via the main exit and cross the road. Head right and continue until you reach Queens Street where you should turn left, you will find Windsor Place on the right hand side, the clinic is on this road on the left hand side.

From Cardiff Central we advise that you get a taxi to the clinic, a local recommeded taxi company are Capital Taxis (02920 777777). The bus station is located near to Cardiff Central train station.

The Optimax clinic is situated on the A4119 (Catherdral Road) which leads into Cardiff city centre. There are two parking options open to visitors, you can park at the clinic or opposite the clinic at Sophia Gardens.

Train Stations

The local train stations are either Cathays Park Station (0.3 miles), Queen Street (0.4 miles) or Central Station which is 0.7 miles from the Optimax Clinic in Cardiff. Walking times to the clinic varies and are usually 10 – 15 minutes walk. A taxi costs between £4 – £6.50.

Bus

You need to get a bus which heads out of city along the A4119. Look out for bus numbers 25 & 62 which go along Cathedral Road and you can find these buses at stand D2 at Cardiff Central Station.
